Heavy Firearm Mastery (I think that's what you're talking about) just decreases mp usage for those huge gun skills.
[color="#cc8899"]Ah, that's right. Still extremely useful. Also, it's really hard to "screw up" your build - every skill has a conceivable use, it's a matter of how you work with what you have. Grenade is considered a key gunner PvP skill and I do just fine without it. Some skills you definitely want at least 1 point in though (Windmill is a MUST for getting out of tight spots against meleers). Aerial Fire you can take or leave, it's a personal preference for me. I enjoy floating. I also got backstep, which Fiel laughed at me for, but I get pretty good usage out of it faking out fighters/priests and then flamethrowering them.
By far, my favorite and most used skills (PvP) are Bomb and Flamethrower, but I do mainly team PvP, where they can dish out some serious group pain and I can actually use them effectively. I may not even touch the laser, simply because I don't much care for narrow/single target attacks.[/COLOR]
