Did it ever occur to you that he could have bought a vast sum of nx with his own money and then use that nx in mts to buy items that he could sell in the scania market?
There is no area in the OP that states that LastOath used nx to directly buy the sword.
By using Nx to buy items in Mts, the OP is actually following the ToS, for that is the main point of mts- to use nx that you have to buy items from others, so that if you have no way of obtaining nx, you can thus obtain nx via mts.
You're also overlooking one major part- Alcolix and LastOath are in the same world - Scania. Since these expiring items cannot be mts'ed, then that would mean he bought it via the mesos he earned from buying items in MTs.
However, I still believe it is the buyer's fault, for he was not careful enough as to see if the item would expire or not, nonetheless it is the buyer's fault for carelessly buying the item.
You're assuming a complex series of events, when the information that he gave was that he used NX to SUPPLEMENTmesoss, not that he used nx to buy things from the MTS to generate mesos. The bolded also does not make sense, I specifically mentioned that the item could not have been bought in MTS, meaning I was obviously fully aware that he purchased it in the world the seller was in.
Anyways, the information that we were given was that he was using NX as well as mesos to purchase the item, not that he used NX to generate more mesos. I'm assuming the simplest series of events, not the most complex, which is the most reasonable assumption I can make.
