Most of the people here are nerdish, a lot play Maple story, and forgive us, oh-so-mighty for making our board something more than "giv me advic on how ot use brandish on harps." I mean, where the hell did you come from? You've been here since the 5th of September, what do you know about this place, of the work that was put in making it what it is, of the people that consider each other friends here? If you go through the Site Assistance and Suggestions forum, you'll see that a ton of us have worked our asses off to make Southperry what it is. Over the course of over a year, some good suggestions were culled from an ocean of pomegranatety and mediocre ones, and today is the result of that. I personally am responsible for a bunch of rules changes, (including ones that I objectively judged to be good for this forum that were later used against ME,) and I suggested 3 out of the 4 custom emotes that are used on this forum. But no, it couldn't possibly be that I was trying to improve the place, I had to have done that because I am "elitist," a "sheep," and "unoriginal." I've been here since Day 2, I don't need a "sheep army" to put you in your place if you try to call me these things, or if you try to call my friends these things. So, seriously. Leave. Or stay and defend your so-called logic, and I'll grind you into the dust, along with the others here. I don't need to bash SW to do that. You're fuucking out of line, and it's as simple as that.
The memes on this forum, such as the plane crashing, chinchillas, etc., serve to make this a COMMUNITY. I don't think we're holding congressional meetings here, we're here to have fun. We value wit, we value good conversation, and most of us have enough pressure from the outside world to want to get away from it by coming here. The difference between us and SW is that we do NOT have warnings such as "warning whining," "failure at life," and we don't ban people for disagreeing with us. The difference between this place and /b/ is that even the trolls here do something productive for the place, rather than urinating on anybody not capable of fighting back. The mods are not "above the law" and they are not assholes, they simply come here and hang out with us. These people can infract me and we're talking in IRC two minutes later like it didn't happen; this is the ONLY forum I've ever been to that's like that. And Fiel is NOT Adura, except to people who don't know enough about those two people to compare them, or to people that are dishonest and just want to smear smear smear. For you not to know that, it must mean you simply came here and are mouthing off, because the regulars know it, all of us.
