I have friends that got married when they were in the military (Marines, Navy). It's NOT that easy as some may think. Especially when you're living on base housing (there's a waiting list sometimes). Some places you can't go with your husband etc.. it's just stressful sometimes... Wherever they decide to send you guys is where you have to go, no matter what..There are benefits to it and there's also costs. Benefits: Health insurance, family insurance, they pay for his schooling IF he decides to go get his degree in something(but then you gotta pay back Uncle Sam later) Costs: Not really knowing where you're going to be depending on what branch you're in. Being shipped out w/o a moments notice.. if you're not in school, you'll be bored out of your mind sitting at home waiting for him to get home. What is he going in there for anyways? Like what does he want to take up?
