Do you know this person? 162 F/P AM ExRemilia, 137 Shadower ExDrakuaza, 100 Hermit ExFlandre.
He posted on Basilmarket saying he has 1230 magic unbuffed at 162 with no HTP or MoN, meaning he has a 402 MATK Score without those items. In other words, it would make him one of the strongest Magicians in GMS...though I don't know of anyone who has heard of him. I threw out some bait saying he spent a ton of money on NX/meso buying to acquire such a score, and these were his responses:

Also when i started the character, i had clean equips and at most 70m i had. In order to make that last until i was 120, guess what i did?
Hunt maple shields for hours and sell them for 20m each in order to repot and continue my training, i wasnt able to get my equips until i was lvl 140 1 hitting blue wyverns and 2 hitting skeles.
And selling leech, I hate it, but im so damn good doing it. Even before quitting, some people paid me 14m an hr regular 1 hit skeles, and in 2x events some even paid 40m an hour for that dam 1hit ko.
So now tell me, if i made at least 50m in 4 hours, which didnt stopped there, i kept selling for average of 10 hours a day. while the other 14hrs i was sleeping or out.
How easy would it been for me to make money for scroll and clean equipps to scroll? if in scania maple shields were 25-30m clean and each scroll was around 15m, magic atk 50% was like 5m and i bought alot of them and made tons of mystic/maple/esther shields to sell for over 1b each.
Also i do a special service, well DID, of getting people from 30-70 in around 6-7hours in scania. and that gave me an average sometimes of 350m, deppending on their level and time to leech them.
So if you think i got everything the easy way, youre pretty wrong, i worked my ass off to get all i have, and im proud of it.

The other reason I doubt things is because you're very unawares of things going on. Number one, there is no 50% Shield for MATK scroll - the scroll you're referring to is actually a 30% scroll, but has had the typo 50% for years since the scroll came out in GMS. An extractor on another forum even made a thread last year proving this is the case, so I'm still surprised to see you calling it 50%. On top of that, you didn't know MW30 was out, what dropped it, and regardless offered to buy it immediately. Do you realize how much money that would cost? For someone who claims to be as prominent as yourself to not only know MW30 exists but immediately offer to buy it practically screams illegit mesos. Whether you've quit recently or not, the MW30 information has been out for over a year on several forums, meaning there were months you played in which the information was out there, just a click away. And even if you couldn't stop leeching to find out, you would have heard about it via BL/guild/alliance, a point made even more clearly by the fact that you were on for 10+ hours a day, which means you would have heard some point or another.
Finally, when you talk about scrolling items you only mention the prices of items, as if everything you bought worked. This just reinforces my point about some kind of illegit scrolling method, as NO ONE passes all scrolls they buy. I can think of one person off the top of my head who scrolls more than anyone I know, perhaps as much as you claim, and he only makes roughly 1-2 decent things a week. While he makes a slight profit in the long run, it's nothing like the amount of meso you would need to not only make a godly ArchMage but also fund 3 other characters, which again is more proof of illegitimacy on your part.
Oh, and one last point. You don't have a MoN or HTP yet on your AM, which are essential equipment items for any character that have been out for half a year and a year and a half, respectively. A person as "financially-sound" and "prominent" as yourself for being a Scanian player with 4 4th job characters over the course of 5 years should easily have at least one of them by now, especially considering the fact HTP's can be scrolled, scissored, and sold in the FM for a reasonably cheap amount in comparison to the wealth you claim to have. You should have one by now, but you don't, which means you either never had the money for it in the first place or, more likely, are a known illegit player who the legit community doesn't bring on runs.
Whatever the case may be, my point, in a nutshell, is that you've done enough to make me suspicious of your methods of acquiring meso. Convince me otherwise if you still want, and I will listen, but right now I have huge doubts, as outlined above.

If you call BS of me having luck scrolling, I call BS on your level, i say you hacked at least half way there and you spent alot in 2x cards.

So don't question others methods of getting money, and since im in scania, its easier to get money, even from failed 8-10 atks scs.
I will resume my playtime on december 7. If you still question my methods, i will open a godamn blog or post images of crap i make and my up and downs in my wallet.
I do not own a MoN or a HTP on my mage, i have a MoN in my shadower and nightlord, i had a htp in this character, but sold it, and as i said, i havnt had time to PLAY.
Also i dont group with people that monopolize runs and such, since i dont care at all for that.
When i get them was usually when a friend invited me to the run. thats all.
In scania, the only guilds that sell probably HTP is Excellent, which i dont even see eye to eye, how can i request one of them?
And regarding the scissored pendant, i scissored mine in order to sell it when i was broke and needed money. So i didnt get any after that.
In a nutshell, the guy claims to make at least 300m a day leeching while only playing 10 hours a day. He also claims to make 3-4 bil a day (sometimes 2-3 days) by scrolling items and selling them, and that he doesn't have to pass more than 2 30%s on certain items to sell them for the same price as a fully scrolled one. Also, he says he's never spent more than $50 USD on NX. He also claims to be so rich he has funded his AM, Night Lord, Hero, and Shadower, all of which he can do because the Scanian market allows him to do the above.
To Scanians, do you know him? Is this true? What can you tell me about him? Is the Scanian market truly like this?
To all others, does this kind of meso-earning sound viable in any market? The best merchanters don't scroll, as I've been told by some of them, and so I'm surprised to find a person I've never heard of claiming to make more money than any of the best merchanters I know of simply by scrolling and selling leech and without spending a cent of real world money.
I'm merely debating my suspicions; if this is all indeed true then my preconceptions of meso-earning have completely changed and my AM will become a money-machine. But I'm just sensing so much that could be false that I'm not sure what to believe.
