Unless something has changed since this picture, no they can't be higher than lunchboxes. No stimulators and no gem slots, and maker items only have a small variation without a stim don't they?

As stated above, the price for these swords was nerfed after sinking the enormous amounts of mesos got from the hacking outbreaks. These swords may not have as much attack as a lunch box, but they can inflict curses like blind, slow and even freeze (IIRC) which makes them better IMO.
