I mean, who really needs to "collect em all?" It's the frigging company with its frigging ad campaign out to make you squander your life savings. If there's anything I've learned from games such as "M:TG," it's that if you want to just play the game, you get a ream of resume paper, do some work with photoshop, and make fake M:TG (or pokemon or whatever) cards, and play using those. No, "it's not the same," but you save like 2,000 dollars.

I was talking about those people that buy teh best cards, buy all the cards, buy MULTIPLE copies of the best cards, and buy all the paraphenalia and games, etc. That'll probably run you more than 60 dollars. Look up Alpha or Beta Black Lotus from M:TG on eBay. You'll get what I am talking about right there and then, even though M:TG is pretty much the card game version of Maple Story at this point (big spenders win everything) and everybody with sense has gotten out of the game.
