3. I believe so. It extends the expiration date by X days.
4. Karma Scissors = 2700, Pendant Expansion is 2900 or 3000, iirc
5. Contrary to what Isaac said, I believe you can't extend cash items. Aside from shops, I am not sure why you would want to. And because of this, KMS would be stupid to allow it to be usable on them. (A week costs 2700 for a hired merchant)
