Leaving laptop on 24-7?

Okay, whoa. I was just joking around, but this comment I absolutely do not agree with.

Sure, in the sense that there's always a new computer out there, but definitely not in regard to money. I wish I was made of money so I could agree with that. I'm not. Like 95%+ of my money is going towards paying my own way through college. I could not afford to get a new computer right now. I treat mine with loving care because it is precious to me (I earned it), and I understand its value (because it'd be impossible to get another for a couple more years yet).

That is much more than just a machine to me. It's nearly as precious as my kitties.
