D&D Online mocking Maplestory?

and yet. im coming from the other side. i fully read that essay on "7 ways to kill a tarrasque" and yet - ive not once played D&D. and yet...i want to now. im worried..

It's a very entertaining game when done correctly, more focused on plot than mindless grind. Granted an MMO version of it can never compare to the chaos of a live group of random people all trying to twist the game into their own personal entertainment while a game master frantically wrestles for control of his reality.
