And I don't think Dave Chapelle's jokes are really racist, they might be playing with racial expectations but he's making fun of the attitudes, not the people. A black person making fun of a white person isn't automatically making a racist joke, and if that's how you see it then I guess we just disagree.
If you take jokes by Chapelle, replace "white" with "black," and make Chapelle himself white, then those jokes are really racist. People like Jesse Jackson get on teh white community's ass for way less than that. Making fun of white people is "all in good fun," and it's ok for black people to say stuff like "nigger," but the moment whitey says it, he's a bigot, and any black people present are justified in beating him up. By the way, I HAVE heard "too many white people around." Two Sisters said it in the office where I worked, within earshot of me. Lots of other crap like that has happened to me. Those black bigots then go out of my office and whine how they're discriminated against. I mean, I had a black waiter the other day while waiting in a restaruant while my car got fixed, I tipped him 20% because he was nice. If I am buying at a CVS and the clerk is black, I'll say "thiank you and have a nice day" like to anyone else. But when it comes to these inner-city hoodlums touting their rights and acting all badass, fuuck 'em. I am not going to be bullied by their hypocrisy.
