Guess I fail since I only:
Go to my friend's house every week.
Attend weekend online DnD sessions
Care for my sisters
Full-time student
Play almost everyday on Maple for 3-4 hours
Waste idle time on TVTropes, shows on my hard drive, and catching up on online comics
Watch a movie every 2-3 weeks
Completed over 20-25 games on my DS
Try my hand at new recipes
Quit playing Tales, and maybe we'll talk. To spite you, I will hit 200 on my pirate, quit, and then play WoW.
*If you take this seriously, I lol at you.
No really, who said you can't play MS and not have a life? Apparently Conciente does it, and I bet countless other 200s were able to get to 200 without losing all contact with society.
Some people can take small amounts of cocaine and "enjoy it without it ruining their lives." That does not justify cocaine. Similarly, Maple is a wonderful, reasonable experience for some people, like you and Conciente, but a lot more people share horror stories about how they stopped going outside or calling their friends, and spent hundreds of dollars on gear, only to see it all become outdated and worthless due to new content.
People like that, and who manage to get out of it and have a life again, may feel similar to Andy Dufresne who escaped from Shawshank Prison, throws his arms to the heavens, and takes in the rain and the freedom, and can once again enjoy life. Don't portray your individual situation as indicative of everybody's cause it isn.t
