Is this the right thread to ask if you guys as Pallys liked FA during 2nd job and 3rd?

As to your question, it comes down to control. FA is a free attack, but it messes up the damage by spreading it out using Slash Blast, and it also makes it so you randomly can't move 60% of the time after an attack.

That being said, I enjoyed FA. It's a nice way to use less MP. Then again, I do have lvl 13 Slash Blast, so it didn't really matter to me how low the damage was with the spread. If you're gonna use Power Strike more often, like I did, then its probably gonna be more beneficial. It also can be helpful and hurtful at leeching bosses like BF. When FA activates, the range on the attack goes up by around 1.5x, allowing you to clip a boss further away from you. Unfortunately it's a double-edged sword, since you could have it activate when you're up close and BF will run you over.

Though be warned. FA is an all or nothing skill. If you choose the path, you must follow it.[/COLOR]
