Not really... adding AP to hp just means 3100nx > 18hp (to an extent) > 1 dex. It's better to add straight to hp if your stuff is cheap enough so that can upgrade your stuff by at least 1 primary stat's worth for under 3100nx's worth, otherwise it's better to hp wash, both under the condition that you feel that the hp is needed.
