its that very reason i havent read the books yet; i refuse to be seen as some pathetic bandwagoner of this BS. sure i bought the first book, but after hearing about how the vampires are portrayed, and this BS "OMG, VAMPIRES ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KAWAII-DESU, I WAnNA BE EDWARDS LOVER!!" *spit* stupid fake-goth/vampire lovers. you wanna see a real vampire? GO WATCH SOME CLASSICS, LIKE "Nosferatu," for instance!
