School

I guess I did an unfair comparison however, I ment to say that even college professors who still have to go to school all their life to keep up to date extremely lack the pay my dad makes just with a bachlores degree.

What I mean to say is most teachers, primarily middle/ele have to work two jobs in order to make ends meat. I mean my mother was a teacher, she quit because it just wasn't a fair ratio from work=pay. She'd work with students 8 hours, come home and plan the next week for 4 hours. A teachers life is hard because if you aren't planning you're grading.

However I'm not trying to argue that your opinion is wrong, they do get the things you mentioned which some people may find a fair trade, but I don't agree they get enough pay for some of the crap they have to put up with. Such as students who feel like making drama.

Again I missed a crucial point. The schedule I feel conflicts with the natural teenage sleep schedule. Yes we have to get used to it but, in my county at least, the transisition from 9:17-3:55, was utterly destructive. You do that for 4 years then they make you get up earlier, considering school started 2 hours earlier lol. I just feel like they need a schedule that accomodates the natural teen schedule (Hell most teens don't fully wake up until 10am) rather than an adults. What I also hated about middle/ele is by the time you got home the sun was setting rofl.

I can understand if you make such an extreme change. Our schools here all start at about the same time, though. Elementary started at 8:35, Middle started at 7:45, and high school starts at 8 unless you decide that you want to start school at 7, but that isn't a requirement.
