For the past years, major contents are release during November. That's why the prediction is November not December.
For October, it would be the Halloween patch, which we are sort of expecting permanent Haunted Mansion. For Mid to Late November, holiday starts. That is when Aran will possibly be release. For December, Christmas Patch, probably just Happyville. Oh ya, Aran Preview Quest should probably be release in October.

KoC: Jun 2009 (kMS: Dec 2008)
Notice it is always during the holiday season? November has the highest chances being the month of Aran arrival.
