Why hate on the GM Scrolls?

Once I made my Beheader and finished scrolling it, I sold my DS. I know the sunrise better DPS, but I kept staring at the base damage. I'm almost ready for my claymore, so it won't be too much longer, and it's not that bad. But yeah, the Sunrise would've been a smarter move.

[color="#cc8899"]To note, I hate slow weapons so much that I abandoned a 122 Chelbird (at the time the 2nd in Bello, and one of the strongest PAs in gMS) for a 104 Karstan. The speed increase was THAT nice. Oh, and I made 100m off of the Chelbird (220, paid roughly 105 for it clean). Slow weapons are TERRIBLE for melee jobs. This is why I tend to get frustrated with almost all spears being faster than their PA counterparts (especially with Pinakas/Faltizans, which are actually usable vice Zedbugs and Chelbirds, which are just...

The primary reason I did NOT make a Reverse Diesra was that it would be too slow.

Anyways, topic derailment aside, I'm annoyed that GM 1h sword 10%s were available for months from a normal in-game occurence, but nobody else got that benefit. Add that to the overpowered lunchboxes (Yes, overpowered, fast 4 (faster 2 with booster) with a high base attack and can be used with attack shields) and Heroes and Paladins got an absurd advantage over other classes. Even if only...let's say 100? GM scrolls were released, that's still 100 more than for any other item.

This event should have corrected that - releasing 1h sword GM scrolls in a small amount next to other GM scrolls being in a fairly moderate supply from an in-game event, quest, or NPC. Make people complete class-specific quests/challenges, make them only obtainable once a day (or even week), and only to people 120+, and you get some sort of balance to counteract what happened with the Nightshadow badge fiasco.[/COLOR]
