USB removal cause blue screen?
#1
Well I dont have a printer for my laptop because the computer downstairs has a printer that works just fine. So I finished my homework today and put my falsh drive in to save it os i can port it over. Well when I put it in Windows detected a problem witht he flash drive and it supposedly fixed it. After saving it and everything I clicked the icon at the bottom to remove the USB and the computer shut down showing me a blue screen. I reboot and my computer is running fine and I have deduced that the USB is causing a problem on my computer, but it works normally on the XP computer(I have Vista). Any explanation for this?

EDIT-I am just curious if that specific USB port is bad or my flash drive is bad or whatever. My flash drive has had a virus before that has made it unreadable so i had to wipe it but im afraid to keep testing this because blue screen scares the living pomegranate out of me.
