Also,

11atk/4.5% difference. Now you might not think that is much of an increase, but how about you use common sense for once and consider the worth of 11atk. Take your cape, shoes, or glove and add 11atk to that, and tell me how much that item would cost. That is a huge improvement in terms of equipment.

As far as I can tell, Str/Atk only factors in the WATK itself, and not the version substituted by speed.

I still don't think one-of-a-lifetime scrolling chance is worth it, except for the use of gmscrolls. But since it's come down to 'think', there's little to discuss.
