I am actually surprised at the level Nexon went for this. I guess this must be what they're going to tell Santa about to get their presents at Christmas. I can understand rolling back such a blatant flaw on Nexon's part, though I hope they actually take the time to do a thorough examination so ALL pendants get fixed. I also hope that anyone who lost money because of this gets some REALLY decent compensation.
On a side note, I find the people who took advantage of the glitch and began farming them to make millions of mesos to be the ultimate bad guy here. Those who bought one due to the stat increases and did not ultimately think of the consequences in the end have no fault at all. I would find someone at fault if they had bought a +6 Cape with 0 Hammers used, but on an item that is obviously a glaring flaw to most, but is possible based on usual game standards, ie. no hacking required, could be acceptable to forgive them for taking advantage of it.
That being said... FFS NEXON. Program your games, guys. If you only intend for something to be scrolled once, only LET it be scrolled once. And also test out things to see if there are issues with your programming before going "Come look at this new candy Nexon made for you!"
