You 1 hit 20 monsters across the flippin map and you're complaining about damage why?
Oh wait I forgot, 2-3 hitting 20 monsters at the same time is utterly disgraceful at level 120. How is that fair when melee classes are two-four hitting 6 monsters at once!
Seriously, your excuse is lame, you abused a glitch for pretty much bigger numbers when you were one hitting monsters anyway. Ugh just reading your post got me all flustered on how ungrateful you are. Oh god melee can do more damage then me on a single target! It's not like my ultima's are broken or anything with the nlc pots! Tell ya what buddy, not even 200 more int would let you outdamage any melee class, let alone 50 in terms of bossing
he has a point in that the mages damage formula is broken, and that mages damage 1-on-1 sucks on comparison to other classes, but i side with you on that mages, aside from bishops, arent meant to be bossing chars. we/they are the passive class IMO, not meant for the attacking role in bossing. our damage is meant to augment that of the main attacking class, and to support the team (priests/bishops) and/or weakening the opponents (i/L / f/p AM's with seal/slow). but it is kind of annoying in that we/they shine best in one of the more boring aspects of the game, though the most essential. =/
