I think it's a little... disappointing. I mean, one of those monsters has about 40k more EXP than Skeles and only gives out 2k more EXP. That means you could kill 3 skeles and get more for it.

Guessing you mean 40k HP? And I think it's pretty reasonable. By the time you're ready to train on these monsters, you're probably going to be dishing out 30K+ damage to with or without their respective weakness.
