People will always be like this. The average player age in GMS, I wouldn't be surprised, is probably half that of JMS. In other words, people are usually incompetent and ignorant, choosing instead to ask the questions and wait for the answers than do research, hang on a rope instead of push buttons to train, and buy Gachapon, etc. in order to make quick money.
By the way, a party can still be an ultimating Magician with various attackers. Just because ultimates have changed how we train doesn't mean we no longer party TO train (though leeching on a rope isn't true partying). As games progress, they evolve and change, and so do the methods of partying, training, and leveling. It's okay to use new things to your advantage; that's how the world works. But allowing yourself to fall into a spoiled, ignorant mentality with such new upgrades is unacceptable. Again, the issue here is not game updates making people stupid, it's the inability of people to remain smart and mature with the passing of time.
