Meso Guard was modified, but the change happened so early that we never even saw the original version in Global. It used to operate on a mesos saved system rather than a timer. It's pretty easy to see how that didn't work out, as most high level monsters and bosses would break your Meso Guard in a matter of seconds.

But yeah, I agree, there's no excuse for a lot of these mistakes. I report tons and tons of typos every time I get into Tespia and only one or two of them have ever been fixed.
My mistake. They should also fix Quest.wz (is that the name of the file?) then. Glad to see someone is taking action already
I've never made it into Tespia, but this and figuring out more formulas are my primary concern.
