Usually the answer is one or the other but imo this case ends up being a mix of both is the best.
I stick to what i like and ditch what i don't, but at the same time know of more anime than anyone i know in real life (anyone here doesn't count because it's always obvious to me that i'm an anime noob here :[ ), lol.
