If Pretty Face is shoujo, Vampire Knight is shounen.
I lol'ed when I read you lolbought Rosario+Vampire. I suggest you screen some chapters online before purchasing.
I think Love Hina is a good one to purchase. If I were to lolbuy manga, it'd be Love Hina and the entire Negima series up to date. Of course, twenty-three pineappleing volumes is a pretty penny.
Maybe try Welcome to the NHK!, though you may be more interested in the Light Novel version, which I believe is completed in English. All three adaptations (light novel [original], manga, and anime) vary in some way, but it was a good run in my opinion.
Gacha Gacha by Tamakoshi Hiroyuki is one of my favourites, along with Pretty Face by Kano Yasuhiro. Though the endings may be a turn off for both of them, they're great laughs.
Midori Days was a great experience too.
Otherwise, if you're looking for things not Comedy, maybe have a look at Suzuka, and Saikano.
If you can find it, Mirrai Nikki is pretty pineappleing godly. I don't think publication has started yet, but it's licensed by TokyoPop.
