I meant I couldn't fill the Skill bar more than 1/4 of the way full even after i'd been through half the stages.

I don't know about doing it in a party, I don't really enjoy bossing in parties so I have always done it solo. Yeah, I imagine it is quite a bit easier with a priest, but that still leaves you high and dry on bosses like papa pixie where he refuses to summon, and so you're left without any MP. That really drains all the fun out of it, having to cower in the corner using regular attacks to keep him at bay.

I have to disagree with this though.
Papa pixie? Yes I have to admit, its hard for me to solo even when im 7x(ranger)
( stupid moronic mob I was killing it to its 7/8 HP and it has to kill me many times).
However. On a usual party of 2/3 downing it was a piece of cake ( it took like 3 mins?)

or with a cleric (a noob one is okay) I was well able to solo it.
I wish i could've used fraps for that for proof but I can't.
Usually, if you want to battle papa.
Save your pots. Pick it up only when neccessary.
Secondly. It is able to avoid his attacks. Find a spot that you can spam your skills. And when papa pixie is about to attack . Walk away from him... When his attack animation ends, quickly walk back to him and start shooting madly. repeat process till kill. papa Pixie will not walk nearer to you. Even if it does, You can still walk to the another side of the map with your windwalk skill since you're a windbreaker.
thats how i did it a few weeks back on my 7x ranger (cept for the windwalk part coz i was lucky papa didnt walk nearer to me after his string of summons)
