Tmeless/Reverse boni

What I want to know is, is that +1 to Pierce added to your skillbook when the weapon reaches max level, or does it only apply when the weapon is equipped?

If the latter, you could reset a point out of Pierce (Not that anyone would pay that much for a 4th job reset).

When the weapon is equipped.

It's probably a poor idea to reset a point out of Pierce. Who knows what the 130 weapons might add?
