Sheesh, I don't know why anyone wanted to try and get answers from George. Now we're worse off than we were before. Real answers have yet to come from seriously questioning anyone. Most of the stuff that's found out is made through discovery or eavesdropping. XP At least that makes the next choice easy.

[] Drill Selest with questions about your suspicions.
[] Buy her story for now and keep looking for Melanie together.
[X] Tell Roberta and Selest to leave and look for Melanie alone.

Questioning Selest isn't going to do anything at this point besides give them more time to escape with Melanie. Best case scenario is that you convince Roberta that Selest was a part of it, worst case, you end up proving nothing and wasting time. Either way, it's eating up precious time to try and get to Melanie.

And no way is it times to keep Selest around. Even with Roberta around to watch your back, I wouldn't trust that she'd instantly side with you against her long time friend. Thus, you can't trust Selest, and Roberta, while you may be able to trust, will likely side with Selest first on most issues.

Thus, that leaves the only sane option at this point. Leave them both. Ideally taking Roberta off to the side and asking her to keep and eye on Selest for you. Then, after you're free from them, I'd say it's high time you started thinking rather than running around randomly trusting people. At this point, he really just needs to be a loose cannon. Somebody so unpredictable that neither Rose nor Chad will be able to use him. Forcing them to deal with him on the level rather than try to manipulate him. That's the only way he's going to survive this, and the only possible way Melanie will survive either.
