Just wondering, what's the point of using a dark crystal when the only stat there is on the claw is luk? Might as well have used a luk crystal.

This. You probably coulda sold the advanced DC for a ton of money and bought an advanced luk very cheap in comparison and would have gotten the best effect from the advanced DC with 100% success rate.

Tip: For weapons, best idea is almost always

diamond + primary stat crystal + black crystal or another stat that's helpful i.e. HP, avoid, accuracy
