Maker and Black Crystals/Dark Crystals

I've looked around the forums and havent seemed to find an answer. However, if there is one already, can someone link me to it?

Basically, while browsing, I saw this:

power crystal +5str
dex crystal +5dex
dark crystal +4str +4dex

couldnt find any overall stimulators anywhere..

now im starting to lvl up it, no idea how long it will take but i'll post the final result

According to Isaac's guide, Dark Crystals add 2, 3, or 5 to a random stat. According to that post, that user got +4 to TWO stats (incidently, the two he put crystals into)

I've heard various things regarding these crystals and just want to confirm them:

1. Dark Crystals add to Str, Dex, Int, Luk ONLY
2. Dark Crystals can add or take away from those stats
3. Dark Crystals add/take away from all of the mentioned stats present
4. Black Crystals add to weapon attack, acc, avoid, etc. (basically, all other stats than the four AP ones)
5. Black Crystals, like Dark Crystals can take away and add to stats (like the Dark Crystal, in a similar manner to chaos scrolls)
6. Black Crystals can add/take away attack (similar to 4, but more specific)

Thanks in advance for answers. Im curious and want to utilize maker to whatever advantage I can get from it, lol.
