Isaac's post clearly states that level 1 Maker can do 1 Jewel/Crystal, level 2 can do 2, and 3 can do 3. I currently have level 2 but I can only add 1 Jewel/Crystal for an equip. Is something wrong with the Maker in our version or was there just a small typo in the guide/post? :x
The more accurate way of expressing what his guide was saying is that Equipment has the same number of gem upgrades available as the level of Maker required to create it.
Even if you reach level 3 maker, items that only required level 1 or level 2 will still only have that many slots. It's a measure of the level of the item, not your maker skill.
