My cleric on BETA was pretty fun, he got to level 38 and he had str o/.
He motivated my first character after BETA, which is a priest. He went low-luk and I had really good times training at MDT, DT and Himes with a party. It started to get boring because my damage was pitiful and I couldn't really train alone decently (stopped at level 85).
Also, the 4th job kind of demotivated me, spamming genesis didn't seem so cool (as well as the bishop bandwagon).
That led to...
My F/P mage, which is my current main character (lvl 102), it has some features my priest lacked: strong single target damage from the start (fire arrow) which I still use even into late 3rd job soloing HHs; highly independant, you could even say it's a lone wolf, I can survive stuff, boss, train, all alone.
I'm pretty strange and I go train at unusual places like nightshadows or elderwraiths and I have fun with it. I feel 4th job will be fun with all the new different skills (I won't be getting meteo straight out.
I'm pretty happy with my current main.
I also made a xbow which is level 62 now, it's fun playing him and i have good expectations for 3rd job.
