I miss playing my priest, back when priests were priests and not HS mules till 120. I had a lot of fun being an actual support character, both able to train well with most classes as well as be helpful at bosses too. And when bishop was released, I still had fun for a little while. Genesis was definitely an awesome skill when I first got it, and was awesome for a long time. But then it began to sink in: I'll be doing this to level 200. At least as a priest I could either be a supporter or split a map at himes and get decent exp either way. But as a bishop, I was just a genesis spamming machine. There wasn't much to it at all. The most fun I ever had on the priest/bishop route was training with a FP and MDTs/Grims. That was the best time I ever had training pre-fourth job. That and the boomer glitch
For my corsair, I wouldn't say I've enjoyed it as much as my priest, but much more than my bishop. I have several skills to use as oppose to just one as a bishop, and I don't need to stop to buff anyone! And being an attacker at bosses makes me feel a bit more important than just being a res mule. The downside is having to dish out the meso for some equipment. As a bishop, as soon as you two hit skeles you were set for a while and didn't need to worry about equipment. And getting to that point was easy to do by late 13x/14x. As a corsair, even with all the time and money I've spent on it I still can't two hit skeles 100% of the time. But it's still better than standing in one place for hours on end using the same skill over and over.
