I'm sure some people will love it tho.
If you by any means want to find a certain probability, and doesn't quite understand how to do it, please feel free to ask! I have more than enough sparetime to explain how it's done, and even find the output for you, if you wonder.

rayhovite Wrote:I am impressed you finished your chaos scroll calculation project. I know you've worked on it for a long while. Though I assume you did it just for fun more than anything since you are a fellow statistician in the making.
And any statistician that plays maple knows all probabilities of success in this game are antagonizingly low, ESPECIALLY chaos scrolls. Probability of success (0.6) x probability of getting +5 is already bad. Trying to get 2 in a row is.....yikes. Freaking Nexon and their addiction to low conditional probabilities.
Might as well play Vegas slots since you get better odds.
Well, it's partly made for fun and partly for curiosity. The question for scrolling with abandoning an item if the scroll fails were made here, and chaos scrolling was something I was interested in anyway, but others mentioned it here. Thus I wondered how I could solve this, and voilĂ , the result is this calculator.
People can easily find out how low the chances are whenever you try to hit 3 30%s in a row. But if you have 100 30%s, what are then the chances to actually hit 3 30%s in a row on a single glove, assuming abandoning?
So yeah. It's very handy if you're using the same scroll on a single equip you can easily grab a hold on. For some of us, it's also quite interesting to see the probabilities. (More than 70 quadrillion chaos scrolls in order to make a perfect zakum helm, you say?)
Well, thanks for the positive input everyone
