Honestly, if it's a 50 magic reduction then that still gives me more magic than a decently scrolled shine wand and I still have enough magic to 100% 1 hit with, I thought they'd do a little better than that.

when he said "50 matk reduction" he was talking about the fact that you can get a really well scrolled shine wand/staff for same price as mediocre/bad scrolled ewand. So the difference ends up being about 50 matk total between those 2. If you continue using a ewand, its 25% reduction.
