In all honesty, I think this is more of an advantage for AMs than it is a downside for bishops. You'll lose what, like 50 MA and pick up a few hundred mesos while the poorer AMs get a 25% boost.

Now I hope I get a few advanced jewels/crystals so I can pay for one >.>

The "penalty" is 50 MA? Not 25%?

Or are you saying the average Bishop will now lose 50MA replacing his e-wand with another type of wand/staff?
