I mean, okay, nexon screwes up almost all the time but no one could know what could've got wrong in the middle.

Because it's always glitched all to hell or is extended to ridiculous extremes. Two good examples being the multiple (different!) Mortal Blow glitches, and the .56 (Ariant) patch being extended to a whopping 26 hours.

Edit: And plus, even with their (slightly) better streak recently, they're still expected to mess up big time.
