510MB RAM? Hmmm that's not possible...
Can you try: [START > RUN > "dxdiag" > OK] again and check if it says 510MB Ram again in the first window you see after Memory?
Freezes are most of the time memory related, and can happen more often due to (warmer) weather. 510MB RAM is not possible, this should be 512MB, so it COULD be possible the memory module is malfunctioning...
