Seems like a lot of people are confused about time, PDT means pacific daylight time, which is GMT - 7 and is observed during daylight savings (summer). CST and EST are observed during the winter in most parts of the timezone in North america and are GMT - 6 and GMT - 5 respectively. Currently, most parts of central and eastern are observing daylight savings, and CDT and EDT are GMT -5 and GMT - 4 respectively. Daylight savings observers move forward an hour for the summer.
