A more efficient double washing method for Brawlers and Warriors
#13
EmuAlert Wrote:Ah, didn't know that. Kind of an absurd feature if you ask me. Still, the TRULY most efficient way to HP wash would be to put points into and out of MP every level up, not just half of them, and only do the classic HP wash technique by resetting points out of STR.

uh, no, that is problem. If you add points to HP or MP from anywhere other then level up AP(i.e. if you use a reset to put the point there) then you only get your class's minimum base gain for that stat. I.E. boosts from skills dont apply. So if you do on brawler or warrior, you dont gain bonus from Improving Max HP, and if you do on a Mage, you dont get Improving Max MP bonus.

Also, I guess its nice that its now being written somewhere, but honestly i realized this like a few months ago... after paladin buddy made mistake of resetting his dex into hp, i realized if you do it that way max hp increase likely doesnt work

And just to point out, unless you have 130+ int to level up with/add to mp with, you cant actually reset 5 points from hp every other level. You gain the minimum amount when you add ap into INT, and lose max when removing. So with 126 int total, when i put a point into mp, i only gained 25 mp. Resetting into str took away 16, which left me 9 extra. Leveling up twice (gaining 12 extra mp each time) would give me 9 * 5 + 24 = 69 extra mp every 2 levels. Which is enough for 4.3 washes. I dunno if 130 int would do it, but 140 int is almost certain.
