My Life Is [A Never-Ending Story]

Just read through this last night/today. Pretty fascinating so far, though I keep thinking near the end there's gonna be a showdown between all the voices a la Highlander. There can be only one!

Not gonna take any chances. Get the heck out of there while you still can. Ideally letting Melanie and Roberta know you're getting out of there so they don't come looking for you and maybe even warn them to get away in case it is a trap so they can't be used as leverage. It's too easy to see Selest setting you up and betraying you. She may have been cool up until now, but you can't really trust her. Best case scenario is she was an idiot and got caught and is now bait to trap you in whatever they have set up. Going in and getting trapped kind of negates any advantage in the situation you had. The middle of the road worst case scenario is she's a willing traitor and doesn't give a damn about you. If that's the case, you shouldn't have trusted her and will likely end up with Roberta and Melanie being caught as well to use as incentives to keep you in line. And the absolute worst case scenario is the "OMG I can't trust anyone ever again" one where they're using the mind control device or whatever on her. Then you're just plain fucked and you know you'll never be able to trust anyone ever again. Thus, no matter what Celest scenario it is, I say get out of there asap.
