I would say that it all depends on luck. When 4th job came out and SE 20 was scarce, they were dropped by sharks + pianus. Some people would kill sharks for ages and not find one, then find one from one pianus. Others would kill 10+ pianus and not find it, then find one killing a shark on the way to pianus.
There's really no way of determining which monster (A or B) would give you better chances as it is, after all, purely up to chance. You could spend hours at A and find nothing, then walk past B and find it. Alternatively, you could find it at A in a few minutes, then never find another one for months.
My call? I'd flip a coin (because Im just that kind of person, lol).
