About the 'hacked items', it really depends if you buy it directly off a hacker or a shop. It's one thing when the guys standing right there, its another to come across it in the fm. Anyone who attacks another player for that is just down right ignorant period. However after the first couple dozen times we are able to kill this guy, yes hackers will possibly overrun it. However I think we can both agree that nexon has stepped up quite a bit from its natural failure, as well that we can agree it's still not enough.
Until I quit I was in good standing in the high-level Khaini community. There's a lot of hypocrisy surrounding hackers, a lot of double-talk and shifting definitions, to the point where if somebody cleans out another person's account and puts his tagged equips up for sale, it's "legit" for a person to buy them even though they know it's stolen. During the period where mass duping of white scrolls happened, the general consensus was, if you can afford a perfect weapon, more power to you, even though there was almost certainty that most of that gear was not legit. The AC hack is shamelessly used by FMing mule guilds to monopolize Ch. 1 FM, nobody calls those people hackers, or maybe they do, but I don't remember hearing ACers get banned. People want high damage numbers, as long as they themselves don't get called hackers, most of them will do anything for good gear and a lot of mesos. "Hacker"/"Not Hacker" in my experience are subjective terms.
As for HT and Zak, in my time the boss staging areas were overrun by hackers, the blue "congrats" message flashed once every few hours, and all the legits on the server knew none of them had done it. Maybe ALL this has changed since I quit, but I can't imagine Nexon becoming THAT much more competent.

I bought my 15 att wg back in the day for 415 million. In an economy this inflated, 15 att gloves dropping a few hundred mil will probably be of little consolation to most people.
