Guilds, some things I've pondered about.
#7
Homestarmy was founded by my fiance, I, and two friends we met doing the 999 green mushroom quest back when we were lowly noobs. Since then, the only people we've added have been people we know in real life, or friends of people we know in real life. During our peak, we had all of 9 active people in our guild. Now, we're down to myself, my fiance, and my fiance's little brother. We've been invited to higher level guilds, but eh... I'm always hearing about guild drama and ksing and other such nonsense, and I really didn't see any need to become part of that.

When I'm on MS, it's usually just my fiance and I who are online in the guild. It really doesn't bother me at all, since the reason I started playing MS in the first place was to be able to spend time together with him.

In short:

I join guilds for friends.
I have never left the guild per se; we started the guild TBPosse when we found out my little brother has tuberculosis and thought it was hilarious (it's dormant, so it's not like he's dying or anything) but it was basically everyone from Homestarmy's secondary characters so I don't think it counts.
