Why do people join certain guilds? For what purpose..? I've always wondered about that for myself, actually.. Here's a history of myself involving guilds:
-Joined a very small guild on my PADK back then, the guild leader was a close friend irl.
-Joined another small guild on one of my mules, loved the people in it, so random and literate.
-Eventually quit a guild on my PADK, joined a guild called 'Unsolution', made by a VERY close friend on MS, who is also a PADK. A person that I looked-up to. Once the guild started dying, I left that, and I got fond of playing a Hermit. Reborned as a Hermit (female), I made:
-"Drakonia", and I was a the leader of that guild. After the guild-hackings, I remade Drakonia, but it failed miserably.
-Joined "Scandalous" shortly after with the help of a close friend of mine that I met throughout the game via APQ. I joined because I figured, it was a higher levelled guild, and I wanted to explore my options and get stronger, and know more people.
-Recently left that guild to join another.
Something I really thought about was leaving a guild, does it mean I abandoned all of my veteran friends that used to be in that guild that loved that guild? What if that guild was no longer 'fun' to me anymore? It had nothing to do with levels, it was just 'different' to me now..
So my questions here are:
-Why do you guys join certain guilds? (For friends, for similar beliefs, or for 'power'?)
