Hi vic, I finally decided to register for SP jsut cuz of this thread =P

My friend, who is actually doing this build,'s RL girlfriend / MS wife is a Bishop, so yeah, it's pretty easy for him. It's mostly for solo/duo bossing. I don't understand

This person he speaks of is me. And yes, my girlie is a bishop so 12x~13x was a breeze. Maxing snipe did not compromise my training speed, and made me a more eligable boss candidate, which allowed me to make mountains of meso off of Zakum pretty early on :3

snipe first is dumber than drinking toilette water. pierce at 1 sec charge at skele dungeon > sex.

these new marksmen that cant even use pierce and got so used to sitting at newts and sniping make me sad. only reason why snipe is better is to boss, if you go to HT at 13x go for it, otherwise get se, mastery and pierce before snipe.

I rather like my build thank you, it was loads of fun, especially MINIBOSSING with, which is something I didnt see show up in this topic...

Did you know max snipe lets me kill every snowman without delay? No one can KS me in miniboss settings.

Snipe First is extremely stupid, it's worthless until it's maxed.

HI SAGE ilu :3 Yeah, the first 13 lvls of being MM were a pain, but once it was all said and done, I felt godly compared to my peers (Well, aside from my bishop girly, but bishops will be bishops, can't really compete with her wiping out a whole screen xP.)

At what level though? I though we were talking about early 13x, which is when Snipe would be maxed. By 14x or 15x the Snipe build MM would also have a higher level SE/Boost and probably a good Pierce too.

Edit: Anyway, the people I know that are doing this build aren't doing it because it'll help them train super fast. It's mostly for bossing or god-knows-what-else (referring to Sage lol).

Snipe really boosts the motivation factor, especially early on, because it makes you feel leagues stronger... which, in essence, you are. When I set out to do the build, I realised that this build would only help me train slightly faster, but I didn't care. I guess my case is a special one, however, as I've been lucky throughoug my maple career in getting good funding and thus having good equips, and also having my girlfriend as a bishop.

Or those who want to boss early and train with a similar-leveled 4th job magician, reducing the necessity of a good mob skill and better Strafe damage to train.

Precisely ;3 Because of this, this build isn't particularly reccomended for those MM out there that are hardcore solo-ers or don't train with 4th job mages.

How in holy hell does training with a mage reduce the need for a mob skill? If anything, it should massively increase the need. Also, I'd like to know if as many people train with a mage/bishop as they would like. I personally have trained with a mage/bishop like... maybe 5 of my 32 levels in 4th job.

With my decent equip set, I've always been able to keep up with the loads of spawn the bishop has generated. I just maxed SE/Boost at lvl 150, with only 1 point into Pierce (which, I dont use yet cuz its too weak) and I do fine.

As I've already said, the person I'm referring to is married to a Bishop and they train at Newties. I dunno why you'd ever need Pierce at Newties.

Ah yeah, I forgot about that, we trained at newts till about 130 I think, which snipe >>> pierce for sure.

Actually, the reason we didn't train at skeles earlier on was cuz HiccaSqueak wasn't confident enough to train at skeles yet, and kept dying and getting upset.

Maybe he can't survive a skele hit yet.

I could survive a skele hit since 120, that wasn't the issue.
