Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200)

I have a question about BattleShip. It says the cool down is 90 seconds at level 1, and six minutes at level 10. Is the countdown started when you use the skill, or when the ship dies?
If it's started when you use the skill, most logical option, then those six minutes can turn into three or two, depending on how evasive you are. (Random guess on the time)

It's when the ship dies, meaning you can toggle in and out of it until it breaks. The cooldown starts once it breaks.
