It is a shared RAM but with a GPU? That is what it says... (nVidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430)
I'm not a technical wizard, but I've done most the things you guys have mentioned. (I use to run MS fine on a 128MB (shared 16) with 533 mhz Celeron, and XP). Now things I've noticed that would cause noticeable lag would be the file indexer and RAM caching, of which both seem to work fine my other Vista computer.
To Zaotsu: My other computer has no problem what-so-ever with MapleStory and Vista, and it has 1GB of RAM as well. So you recommend downgrading to XP and upgrading to more RAM (Both of which are planned).
At any rate, installing XP on another partition would be extremely easy, as it has an entirely empty NFTS partition, just wasting 65GB of space.
